100 Handsome Male Cat Names

Since our cat adoption search began several months ago, we have left no stone un-turned when it comes to researching everything feline.

During our search we came across many cute and popular cat names which in turn inspired us to go a little further and compile our own lists of favourite cat names to help our readers make their own shortlists!

Researching male cat names took us to space and back, honestly! The planets feature several times in our list, perhaps because of that ethereal personality that cats possess. I’d happily call my gorgeous boy ‘Neptune’ – perfect for a blue-grey cat or perhaps one with deep sea blue eyes?

How else did we choose male cat names to feature?

One thing I like to remember is that a cat or dog name should have a good ring to it, always bearing in mind that you need to call this name out several times per day at least! And for that, a name with ‘ie’ at the end tends to be quite popular, as do two-syllable names.

Occasionally we let a few longer names slip through the net. How about Fernando, Romeo or Valentine?

So take a look at our list below and see if you agree with us; will any of these handsome male cat names make it to your shortlist?
